Had the pleasure of meeting with some bright graduate students from @DukeGPSG to discuss coastal resiliency policies.
Coastal erosion is a complicated issue that so many North Carolinians face. These students’ interest in addressing this issue fills me with hope for the future.
A huge thank you to the Duke in DC office for hosting us during the annual GPSG advocacy trip!
Sending a big 👏 to the @DukeGradSchool students who spent time in D.C. this week advocating for issues critical to grad education like federal 💵 for scientific research & student aid, as well as #climate policy.
Your commitment to making a difference is truly inspiring.
