Manny Diaz Press Conference Notes/BC at Duke - Coach Patke has a new addition to his family. Maberie (sp) Marie is the new Blue Devil. It happened this morning. - Loved the mindset of his team vs. UVA; they flipped the script on close games, and he expects a good crowd for BC on Halloween, which looks like a nice weather day. - Praised Walker Egets gutsy throws, says the team believes in him. - Says BC has gotten better; QB can play with magic; difficult matchup. Praises BC coach O'Brien on his offensive capabilities. - Said the play from Nate Sheppard is something UVA had in their bag. Holding them to FGs was good. Mentions Brody is playing well; said he is making grown-up receiver plays as a freshman. - On injuries, Craycraft or Pellicciotta may return; uncertain on others. - On Dave Doren, says you may not see guys stay that long in today's era; sends condolences saying it is not easy. - Day by day on punter Reynaldson's improvement from injury. - Om Dan Mahan, getting him so reps will make the program better in the future. He is playing his role on the team. Meant a lot to get back in. He knows this is his last year to play.
