At practice this spring I asked one of the coaches about Kenny Minchey. He did not talk about how far he could throw it. He did not talk about his skill as a runner. He talked about his leadership and his preparation. “He gets the play script the night before, and in the evening he literally comes out here and stands on the practice field totally alone… by himself. Goes through each play in his head, visualizing, thinking about how to execute it against different defensive looks.” Immediately came to mind, when, with the game on the line, two point conversion for all the marbles, Kenny brings Baxter in the backfield and points out to him the defender that he needs to pick up on the blitz, then delivers a perfect pass to win the game. Preparation meets opportunity. #WeAreUK
