Boycotting the Keynote Speech to be delivered by @BalqeesFathi at the #WomenPowerSummit in Bahrain (10AM on 13 Oct) to take a stand against (1) the organizers' poor selection seeing as (2) the speaker recently tweeted against certain freedoms of women in the Arab world.
Decided not to pull out of the event.
Committing to my participation as a moderator of 2 panels tomorrow - considering all those who have bought a ticket + the valuable knowledge to be shared by countleess wonderful women.
Not wasting this on the organizers' terrible choice.
