🚨SPLC LOSING ALLIES After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, many companies have stopped trusting the Southern Poverty Law Center for their employee giving. Now, even BlackRock—once a champion of ESG—is stepping away. 🧵1/6

Another corporate partner is @Dell, which receives more than $3 billion in federal contracts per year This is particularly noteworthy because HRC itself acknowledged that federal contractors were disproportionately withdrawing from the CEI This is likely due to concerns about federal contracting requirements 6/х

Yet HRC corporate sponsorship represents a more direct affiliation with the organization than simply participating in its CEI And, as of today, Dell remains listed as a sponsor 7/x

As companies increasingly reassess their relationship with the HRC and its CEI, they should consider whether these affiliations are consistent with any stated commitments to political neutrality and shareholder interests 8/х

Fortune 500 CEI participation dropped 65% this year, marking its first significant decline However, according to @inspireadvisor and @1792Exchange, there are still 242 publicly traded companies with a Verified 100 on the 2026 CEI, indicating coverage of transgender medical interventions for minors 1792exchange.com/1792-insigh… 4/x

Furthermore, 40 companies remain corporate partners of the HRC, including @TMobile This calls into question its pledge last year to @BrendanCarrFCC that its approach to external organizations is "driven by [its] desire to advance [its] core business objectives." xitter.cf/BrendanCarrFCC/status/… 5/х
NEW: T-Mobile has agreed to end its DEI policies as specified in a filing with the FCC. “T-Mobile will no longer have any individual roles or teams focused on DEI.” Another good step forward for equal opportunity, nondiscrimination, and the public interest.

In short, the CEI pressures companies to incorporate gender ideology into nearly every aspect of corporate governance, including employee healthcare benefits, charitable giving, and marketing Its influence likely contributed to the controversial Bud Light and Target marketing decisions in 2023 3/х

The report provides valuable insight into the scope of HRC's influence on corporate America and the organizations pushing back against it Any institution concerned about the growing influence of modern gender ideology should familiarize itself with these findings 2/x

One year ago, 1792 Exchange took on the SPLC's hate list in workplace giving. It blocked millions of Americans from giving to mainstream conservative and Christian charities. Since then, companies have dropped it. 🧵 1/8

I have received a statement from DHS regarding Sam Sey: “On October 21, ICE arrested Samuel Sey, an illegal alien from Ghana, at the Columbus International Airport. Sey entered the United States legally in 2022 but overstayed his length of admission by over four years, in violation of our nation’s laws. Sey has no pending applications and accepted voluntary departure. He will remain in ICE custody until removed from the United States.   “We do not pick and choose which laws to enforce or where to enforce them.   “We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.” - DHS SPOX As I get more information, I will update.

Pew asked parents how well they prepared their children for adult life. Then they asked adult children how well their parents prepared them. The biggest gap between those two groups was among evangelicals. The smallest gap was among atheists and "other religion"

Silence in the pulpit has led to chaos in our nation. It’s time for pastors to boldly address political and cultural issues again.

The Berkeley study measured stock returns. It didn't measure legal bills. IBM: more than $17 million. Deloitte: $21.5 million. Accenture: $25 million. All to resolve Justice Department discrimination allegations. @DustinDeVito on what DEI actually buys in @theblaze ⤵️ theblaze.com/columns/opinion…

"While the Republican Party isn’t perfect, I can’t help but notice that, out of our two major political parties, Republicans are the only party that still invites unapologetic and uncompromising Christians to be a part of their movement and platform." Last Saturday, pastor @dmichaelclary offered the opening prayer for President Trump's rally in Kentucky. Here are his reflections on that incredible opportunity and the full text of his prayer. centerforbaptistleadership.o…

Jesus said, "Blessed are the MEEK, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matt 5:5). Notice he didn't say the WEAK shall inherit the earth. Since the words rhyme, people often treat them as synonyms. They aren’t. Both came into English from Old Norse, but from different roots with different meanings. So what's the difference? The Greek word for "meek" in Matthew 5:5 is praus, which was considered a virtue by ancient Greeks. Aristotle placed it as the mean between spinelessness and rage. In other words, meekness refers to strength under control. Strength to act with force when needed, but restrained. Scripture takes it further: strength restrained by humility and submission to God’s will. Think of it like a loaded weapon with the safety on. The best example of this kind of man in the OT is Moses. Earlier in his life, Moses failed in both directions. In Egypt, he murdered a man in a fit of rage. At the burning bush, he begged God to send someone else to Pharaoh. He was impulsive and timid, poor qualities for a leader. He needed to learn to trust God's power, channel his strength properly, and humbly submit himself to God's will. Later in his life, he became the MEEKEST man on the face of the earth (Num 12:3). Moses began WEAK but God made him MEEK. God made him strong, then chastened that strength with holiness. Jesus said that kind of man is blessed, and he shall inherit the earth. When we confuse MEEKNESS with WEAKNESS, we end up treating a vice as a virtue. Yes, there are times we are weak, either by nature or affliction. God uses those moments to remind us that we can do nothing apart from him and to teach us to rely more fully on his strength (John 15:5, 2 Cor 12:9). But we are not commanded to be weak. By faith, we are commanded to be strong. OT examples * "Be strong and courageous" (Deut 31:6) * "Be strong and very courageous" (Joshua 1:7) * "Be strong and courageous" (1 Chron 22:13) * "Be strong, and show yourself a man" (1 Kings 2:2) NT examples * "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." (1 Cor 16:13) * "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." (Eph 6:10) * "You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus." (2 Tim 2:1) * "Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees." (Heb 12:12). I could go on, but you get the point. Weak men can't be meek men. They lack the strength meekness requires. As Jordan Peterson once said, "If you think tough men are dangerous, wait until you see what weak men are capable of." When King Hezekiah was warned by the prophet Isaiah that one day the Babylonians would plunder his house and castrate his sons to be eunuchs in the king's palace, he said "good," because at least "There will be peace and security in my days” (Isa. 39:8). Giving power to weak men is the last thing we need. They'll use their power to comfort and enrich themselves while throwing the rest of us to the wolves. The MEEK will indeed inherit the earth, as Jesus said. The strength of a meek man is a terror to the wicked. And his gentleness is a comfort to the righteous.
