Spotify announces new “Reserved” feature, which will allow artists to set aside concert tickets for fans on the platform.
It will use streams, shares and other forms of activity to identify an artist’s most dedicated fans and hold two tour tickets for them.
The fans will then have a day-long window to purchase the tickets.

Every time an American defends tipping, they just describe this archaic system that is intentionally designed to fuck over everyone apart from the owners and somehow they think this is the correct system that should not be changed.
It’s illogical but the current system says if I sell a $20 plate I owe the kitchen $2 of tip from that plate. So if you tip me $4 I keep $2. But if you buy the $50 plate I owe the kitchen $5. So if you only tip me $4 on that plate thinking it’s the same as the $20 plate your whole $4 tip plus $1 out of my pocket goes to the kitchen.
