Thank you @Grr_George for your 7 years of service. You will forever be the adorable little brother of the #Birdsquad no matter where you go.

Thank you Teiga for your years of service to the org and helping make DF what it is today. You will always be a member of #Birdsquad no matter what.

Hey y’all, Dstyles here. For those of you wishing to pay final respects in person to Aziza, her Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home. 179-24 Linden Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11434. The wake will commence at 10:30am, and the funeral at 11:30am. If you can’t make it in person, and still wish to leave condolences, you can donate to the gofundme link below, which also will go towards covering arrangements for Aziza’s mother Marva Brown, whom we also lost just days after Aziza. gofundme.com/f/honoring-aziz…

Congrats to @Grr_George for winning Blink Respawn 2024!!!! Way to secure the bag!

Let’s go grr!!!!!

Let’s go @Grr_George ! 💛💙

Good morning everyone, Dstyles here. First off thank you for all the heartfelt words, tributes, phone calls, and DMs to the team members and across the team socials. We really appreciate it and it shows just how many lives Aziza has touched. Secondly, our boy @Grr_George is competing in DR this weekend. Show him some love and cheer him on!

This is the hardest post we have ever had to make… Unfortunately, our leader, birdmom, mentor, and founder Aziza Brown ( @Zizidown ) passed away earlier this week. Aziza was a beacon of light for not just the NY FGC, but the FGC as a whole. Her nurturing and mentorship made DF feel more like a family (though she hated this phrasing), and less like a team. She was always willing to help out folks around her and would always give even when she didn’t have it. Innovator, friend, cheerleader, coach, mom…. There are so many words that could describe her, but even all of them combined don’t do it justice to describe just how amazing and impactful Aziza was…. Rest in power mom, we love you. Signed, Lionheart, Dstyles, Koustics, Teiga, Pulse, Grr, Cresta Starr, Mike S, Aphex, DjMaho. P.S. We ask that folks please refrain from reaching out directly to her family at this time, as they are grieving just as much, if not more than we are.
