Raptors will always have a floor w/ their depth, defense, transition & TOV advantages. But their creation in inevitable non-Kawhi games is a flaw But if RJ’s playing THIS GOOD then that issue is suppressed. He’s been one of the NBA’s most impactful offensive players last 2 years

POR were the worst TOV team ITL last year too. This shows the value of true PG’s despite narratives Ja deserves LOTS of credit, but I don’t think ppl give Dame enough credit for his TOV limiting, even tho it’s INSANE. He even led the 2021 Blazers to the best TOV team of all-time
Portland easily has the best assist to turnover ratio in the NBA so far… 30.7 assists per game (2nd in NBA) 13.7 turnovers per game (2nd in NBA) Arguably the best team on the glass AND turnover suppression. Dominating the possession game en route to Ws.

Dame’s 100% a t5 most consistently impactful offensive player this century & Ja’s still one of the best creators ITL. Just needed a scenery change The TOV limiting also helps POR’s D since they gave up lots of run outs last yr. So some unconventional defensive value from those 2

Dude the season started not even one week ago we can’t be serious about on-off conclusions right now 😭
The Miami Heat have been worse on offense and defense with Giannis on the court this season. He's putting up huge numbers. He's doing so efficiently. But the team around him is considerably better when he's on the bench.

My list would’ve probably been something like: 1. Kawhi 2. Steph 3. Durant 4. Harden 5. AD 6. Giannis 7. PG 8. LeBron 9. Dame 10. Embiid Klay and especially Cousins (he wasn’t even good that year 😭) being there is crazy imo

Achilles / ACL tears do nothing anymore Jayson Tatum is just one of MANY recent examples

He’s better at scoring from distance than at the rim 😭
Mikel Brown Jr. is a hooper. The 2026 NBA draft class is really gonna go down in history

Anthony Edwards has been heralded for his durability throughout his career, and yet injuries have still got to him over the last 2 seasons. He just turned 25 years old too so this could be an ongoing trend for years to come The new game destroys player bodies. Shorten the season
The NBA season needs to be shortened by at least 15 games This is a whole new league. Players that happen to be in huge bodies are covering way more ground by running & pivoting than ever before due to pace & space, and are constantly putting their bodies in vulnerable positions

Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.

An Ajay Mitchell slashing leap changes OKC He alr got downhill a lot, but those drives usually turned into middys, which against athletic defenses that could overwhelm him physically (Spurs) he struggled But he’s only in year 3 & J-Dub is also out, so he has a chance to improve

Every year? 2025/26 and 2016/17 (his rookie season), are the only 2 Brandon Ingram campaigns where he even reached 65 games, let alone 70 That’s 2 seasons out of 11 in his career
Kids told me BI playing 70 games every year didn’t matter

Brandin Podziemski changes A LOT about the Warriors on both ends of the floor whether you like him or not
They’re injured rn so I don’t wanna go at them over just today, but it’s crazy that there were ppl (smart ones too) that viewed Golden State as a clear playoff team Their offense is entirely reliant on a 38 year old Steph who can be volatile, and their defense isn’t elite either
