He explained the timing of bringing in Steve Wilks to help with defensive game planning. You’ll have to listen to hear what he said about getting similar help for the offense. (That’s a tease)
We are lucky to call @PaulRabil a friend. He's been coming on our show for almost 2 decades now. Guy is handsome, smart and an elite athlete. Watch him shoot hoops or dunk. Belichick wanted him to play Safety for the Patriots. Its annoying how talented he is actually.
LACROSSE is super lucky to have Paul and his brother @MichaelRabil.
This sport would be light years behind where it is now without them. Great interview here. 👏 👊 – at North Chevy Chase, MD
PLL Co-Founder @PaulRabil joined @UnSportsESPN this morning to talk all things lacrosse and the future of the game. 📈
I really appreciate this from Kurt. Kurt is a HOF player and maybe a better person. You know hes genuinely trying to help. Hes not being a dick. Hes trying to encourage Jayden to change his mentality a bit and go for the kill shot every play if its there. He also acknowledges he doesnt have a lot of help. Its a heavy lift. But u can tell he believes in him. And while he says had a very good game.... greatness was there for him. I think this is awesome. Very balanced. Fair. – at North Chevy Chase, MD
After calling the MNF game, I knew #JaydenDaniels played good, but I noticed something that may be holding him back from being GREAT! Don’t miss the point of this video - it’s not about if he could have made all these plays (especially with the issues around him), it’s about the mentality of believing he’s going to b4 the snap! Trust me, there is a difference with the GREAT ones! Enjoy this #StudyBall & the message within it!

If Ron Rivera was still here & he said they had planned to bring in Steve Wilks all along- I'd call him a liar to his face.
But with these guys I think they've earned the benefit of the doubt. They don't offer up all the info we want. They wait. They evade.
But they generally dont lie to your face.
Sounds good on paper... bring in a consultant midseason...leave no stone unturned. I've got no problem with it.
BUT
It's usually the last grasp type of move of a dying regime.
The #Commanders have hired Steve Wilks to work with the defensive coaches under Dan Quinn and Daronte Jones, per me and @RapSheet. The decision to hire Wilks was made last month. He started last week.
Wilks will help with game planning. He won't be with the team on game days.
It was obviously beyond time for MD Football to go in a different direction. Mike Locksley had plenty of time and couldn't get it done. We've had him on the show the last few years. You feel bad for the human part of it.
BUT that $9 million buyout has got to ease the agony. It looks like he made something in the neighborhood of $35 milly as the head coach here in College Park. We should all be so lucky to get fired after that run of good earning!!
