I posted this in early 2025. I suspect several million now understand AI’s transformative impact on everything. But this is still very few people, given what’s coming is almost here. Those who dismissed AI as hype will soon experience the shocking reality of superintelligence.

The bigger concern is not that AI has a recognizable writing style. It's that millions of people are gradually adopting the same one. When everyone starts sounding like AI, originality becomes the exception.

Funny how both sides of the AI debate are convinced that the other is putting humanity at risk.

Perhaps the threat was never a rogue AI agent trying to subvert humans—but humans using AI to hurt other humans.

The gap between 28% and 75% tells me we are still massively underestimating what AI can do, especially those who haven't fully integrated it into their work.

Anthropic’s report is basically saying humans are the bottleneck. “Amid this model-driven acceleration, human attention is a constant bottleneck. Claude sessions amount to around 80% idly waiting for human input. As one engineer put it, people are “bottlenecking the agents.”

The last 18mos has seen an insane nearly ~$200B of AI startup exits via M&A. The median age is 4yrs old. It is absolutely possible to return a multibillion dollar venture fund with phenomenal IRR, even if you aren’t in big AI! This is one of the hottest liquidity markets ever.

We are moving from asking what AI can do for us to questioning what it might be able to do without us. what do you guys think?

Met a kid today who taught himself AI with LLMs at 14 while barely speaking English, worked a 1yr long internship in a top AI company, flew across the world to attend a top 10 US undergrad, dropped out in 2 weeks, and has 5 ~$1M+ job offers from the top neolabs in SF at age 17. Traditional education is so dead. The young kids today are just built different.

Only 2% of AI users pay for AI; 98% use the free tier, not to mention those who don't use AI at all. We are still in such an early stage, and most people aren't even aware of the models' full capabilities.

We haven’t reached AGI, but somehow we are already talking about Super Intelligence. At this point, SI feels less like a technological milestone and more like the next hype cycle. AI → AGI → SI. The acronyms are advancing faster than the intelligence.
