Our home visit pilot showed that community volunteers' visits to housebound older people help extend basic healthcare, provide guidance and moral support to family carers and addresses the invisibility of dependence and care. @BSGGlobalSouth @HelpAgeAPRO

Excellent talk on the US. Make it clear that HICs have much to learn from LMICs when huge swathes of the population are trapped in precarious, low paid work, unemployment, extended wait-hoods, poor infrastructure and work-till-you-drop approaches to health & later life incomes.
