In an emergency, EISD uses a structured reunification process to reconnect students with their families. ID is verified, students are released only to authorized individuals, and every student is accounted for. We hope we never need it, but being prepared keeps everyone safe.

The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) helps schools respond quickly and appropriately to different situations. Staff may initiate a Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, or Shelter response. Practicing these responses helps create a safer, more prepared EISD.
