ADM has two monitoring wells, and they are both leaking. Just weeks after ADM was cited for violating the Safe Drinking Water Act for a leak in one of their monitoring wells, the company announced a pause on carbon injections due to a leak in their second monitoring well.

I was proud to co-lead a Senate Climate Change Task Force and @SEEC meeting on LNG exports. Witnesses from across the globe shared how Big Oil is exporting fossil fuels to keep up with a global demand that doesn't exist—just their demand for profits at the expense of communities.

.@BillNye the climate guy is back, and this time he’s breaking down how Republican leaders are ignoring science for their benefit. Fires, floods, and extreme heat are having major effects on Americans' health. Science isn’t partisan—it’s patriotic. toohotnottovote.com

Fossil fuel companies currently receive a tax credit for injecting carbon dioxide into oil wells to extract more oil, a process known as enhanced oil recovery. I reintroduced my bill, the End Polluter Welfare for Enhanced Oil Recovery Act, to repeal it. commondreams.org/news/enhanc…

France is requiring all 80 stall+ parking lots – both existing and new – to be covered by solar panels. That would add 10 nuclear reactors worth of solar. Why isn't every gov't doing this? We have the solutions. Implement them. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy via @parkingsolar

Thank you @RepCasten & @RepBost for introducing the COVER Act and incentivizing farmers to use #covercrops. Cover crops keep soil on the ground where it belongs, building #soilhealth and protecting #waterquality. Let's get it done in the #FarmBill! casten.house.gov/media/press…

Nobody in IL wants to hear it, but we could shift acres to non GMO corn and meet the consumer demand in Mexico rather than force our corn down their gullet
Replying to @FarmActionUS
Shifting just 3M acres to non-GM corn to meet MX's demand would bring in $150M in premiums for U.S. farmers. Instead, USDA is advancing the economic interests of the world’s largest seed and chemical companies above all else. Learn more ⬇️ farmaction.us/2023/03/14/cor…
