At Parent Night, I had families write encouraging notes for their students to read before their first math test. This is a small gesture to build the home/school connection and remind kids that assessment is about growth, not just a grade. We’re all in their corner! @Ensworth

Did you know that ~20% of students need more than whole-group instruction to reach their potential? Tier 2 means targeted support & meaningful extension for advanced learners. Both matter if you want an equitable, engaged classroom: bit.ly/3POTFqq

Let's learn how to factor quadratics where the leading coefficient isn't 1 without guessing and checking. (Okay I know that sounds boring but I like this video lol)

At a recent Station Rotation workshop, several teachers shared the same concern with me: the noise. 🗣️ While a productive buzz can signal collaboration, when the volume creeps up, it becomes harder for everyone to focus. 😖 Thankfully, you don’t have to give up collaboration to bring the noise level down. 🧐 What's differentiation—and why do it? Differentiation is, at core, just good teaching. When we adjust the challenge, mix up our strategies, & give students different ways to engage, more of them feel connected to the learning. See it in action: bit.ly/3Ka78tK
