The first thing Mike Johnson and John Thune should do after Congress re-convenes Monday Is step down... Put Brandon Gill as Speaker and Mike Lee as Senate leader and get Trumps agenda passed Change the rules to get everything done, then change them back... time to go nuclear

Every state with a Republican legislature should immediately pass legislation to ban ballot harvesting.

The “uni-party” in DC is really only a uni-party on two issues: 1. War everywhere all the time. 2. Unending importation of foreigners. TRILLIONS of dollars are reliant on those two things never changing. Understand that and you’ll understand a lot of what you see.

Why didn’t she help EIGHT YEARS ago? Why didn’t she tell the Met Police bosses who didn’t know? Or her private secretary who didn’t know? Or her communications secretary who didn’t know? Or the media who didn’t know? This is a shameful bid to re-write history.

This is good news 👍 Ron Johnson has the (5) votes required Johnson is using this mechanism to stop Thune from running unopposed (Closed-door, no debate) this is a tool to stop him from automatic reinstallation JD Vance as Senate Prez should sit in

Replying to @BasedMikeLee
Yes. There’s no reason to move forward with leadership elections, especially after the colossal failure to 1) pass legislation & 2) maintain the majority.

I like both men. I'm adult enough to handle that Vance was publicly addressing the undeniable reality of the GOP wipeout, caused by deep national frustration with a war and its resulting spikes on gas prices and other costs, while Rubio was talking to a tiny group of people at a fancy gathering who desperately need to be comforted following that shellacking. It's unfair to compare the two sets of remarks. If they switched their audiences and roles, they might say something similar as the other one did. That's just politics. HOWEVER, the less people care about whether either one of these guys will win the (likely way beyond Pyrrhic) nomination that they may or may not seek of a party in crisis thanks to the failures of its leadership across all branches of government, the better the party can fix the problems that brought it to this point and the better the party can work to repair the harm done. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter who gets the nomination! Now I know that it's absolutely true that many older GOP voters fully support the war and fully support Trump's decision to do what he did. And most diehard GOP voters in other age groups would continue voting GOP even if they were less enthusiastic about the war. We see a lot of representation of the first group in particular in the media. I know it's unpopular to say so, but these groups comprise a dramatically shrinking minority of voters that is unable to deliver election wins. Fully 65% of the country opposes the war. It's not a winning issue. Prosecuting it resulted in serious electoral costs -- largely due to the increased gas prices but also because of the sense that the Trump administration was not focused enough on domestic crises requiring major work. You may wish it were otherwise. I'm sure you do. But the reality is that this war has never been popular and has gotten less so. Thoughtful people should care far more about the very real concerns of the recent GOP voters who left or gave up and not just the ones who don't leave. So you can pick the person who most aligns with your particular views on the war all you want! Donors and special interests can get behind whichever person they want and maybe they even have the power to get him the nomination! They frequently do! But it's a very, very, very, VERY long road between picking that nominee and returning the Republican Party to any semblance of power. I'd care less about the fight over who gets nominated and much more about building a winning coalition going forward. Also, as someone who genuinely likes Rubio, I think his vocal supporters may be hurting him by positioning him as a huge fan of the war. For whatever it's worth.

And on a final note, as A3 passed, and I don't like beating dead horses as much as Jeff @JeffreyBrandes does: we here in Sarasota really should not be allowed to keep a few bucks in our own pocket because the police need more of our money. There is sooo much crime here (note sarcasm). Sarasota (city stats not county). Residents: 56,692 in 2019, 58,279 in 2025. Up 2.8 percent. Police budget: $35.6 million in 2019. $54.8 million proposed this year. Up 54 percent. And the crime justifying it? 1,051 index crimes in 2025. Two thirds of them theft. Unlocked cars leading. Index crime fell 52 percent over those six years. We paid 54 percent more for it. Police are 44 percent of the general fund, and half that fund is property tax.

Oh HELLO NO. Florida tell @ByronDonalds what you think about Susie Wiles coming to his administration. Imagine what she will do to the best surgeon general in the country. @FLSurgeonGen
So President Trump finally figured out what Ron DeSantis already knew about Susie Wiles back in 2017. Better late than never I reckon, but irreparable damage has already been done. Wiles can't stand the Desantis', and she was more than likely behind the Hope Florida hoax to smear Casey DeSantis. Wiles saw Casey as a political threat to her boi Byron Donalds who had to be neutralized. I hope she doesn't mess Florida up too much when she becomes our quasi governor.

If either of these two useless dickheads is in a leadership position by the time the dust settles, consider my recurring donations to the GOP cancelled, and I highly suggest you do the same.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) is gathering signatures to postpone the leadership vote in the Senate. As of right now, he only has 5 signatures. Contact your Republican Senators & ask them to join Sen. Johnson’s letter.

Whom should we request to look into this proposal to end H4 EAD work visa. 600,000 Americans will get their jobs back by ending this unauthorised visa today H4 EAD visa is not approved by congress and can be ended today.

Countersignaling the H-1B visa is good for moving the Overton Window But at this point we need to also end or heavily revise the following abused visas * F-1 Student * L-1 Office Transfer * EB-1 NIW Self-sponsored visa * STEM OPT work visa * PERM labor certification for Green Card * TN USMCA visa that lets Indians from Canada come in freely People have no clue just how much fraud there is. Annually anywhere from 300k-500k American jobs stolen
It's time to either drastically reform the H-1B visa program or end it all together. American workers in every industry should always come first. @WatchfulWaiter1 is a Senior Research Fellow at the Border Security and Immigration Center.

Do we have your attention now @johnthune? You see why we need the save America act
Voter registrations in states without proof of citizenship requirements. 20 million new voter registrations between 2022-2024. 37 states did not require documentary proof-of-citizenship when registering to vote.

Our time in the majority is running short. Republicans must act before Democrats take control: ✅ PERMANENTLY SECURE THE BORDER. ✅ PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. ✅ CODIFY @POTUS’ EXECUTIVE ORDERS. ✅ ENSURE ICE REMAINS FUNDED. ✅ PROTECT OUR CONSERVATIVE VICTORIES. Deliver. No excuses.
