Looking at this through a kpop lense, Ahri always gave leader, fresh, princess- meant to look refined. Evelynn was always portrayed as mysterious and cold, akali was the sisterly, brash, creative soul of the group, and Kai'sa was the quiet dancer. The comics help a lot for this.
