A lovely interview with friend to all volume EMers Kedar Narayan. He may not have become World Chess champ, but he has won the Alan Agar award!

I love a puzzle!
I've done this myself, but had to reverse engineer the answer to clue 6 from the overall solution!

For those that know me, you can play a game of "Where's Wally" and find me in the crowd in the first picture from Tues night seeing @therapyofficial (who were brilliant by the way) at @the1865 in Southampton with my daughter Rosalind
Fantastic night @the1865 Southampton! Huge thanks to all who rammed the place and brought the noise on a cold Tuesday night, respect!

If any of my fellow #VEM ers are thinking of leaving academia (and why wouldn't you!).....
(Again I'd seriously consider myself if I weren't tied to the UK)

Replying to @giulia_casal
@giulia_casal making it a stressful but ultimately very successful Friday afternoon with an impressive first attempt at cutting and collecting serial sections for SEM Array Tomography! I held my breath at points, but she did a great job and approx 480 sections is no mean feat!
Several lucky people are going to have a whole week at workshop in Munich next week with @JemimaBurden @MaSchifferer et al courtesy of @cziscience learning how to do this and plenty more about array tomography!
Brilliant work by brilliant people for a brilliant reason!
volume EM, Volume CLEM, for the people!

Just so anyone I know on here that I spent time with at the VEM Tech forum last week is aware, I and a few others have developed covid.
Hope you all got away with it!
Only 1 week now until the vEM Tech Forum!
Looking forward to the talks, posters, demo lounges, challenge panels and spending time with the vEM community!
It's happening again, though this time it's a 15 min talk and version 1.0 is currently 19 mins long!
Time to be brutal with the virtual razor blade and trim it down a bit smaller!
(Or I could sabotage my friend Jon Moss who is talking after me and steal his time as well?)
