Agree. While #COVID is widely circulating, post organ transplant recipients and other vulnerable people with 3/4 shots should be able to get their medications and buy groceries in a fully masked environment.
Um. Just maybe, Mr Premier and Dr Moore, it would be minimally prudent to reinstitute focused mask mandates, e.g. for pharmacies, grocery/convenience stores, banks, health professional offices, taxis & transit -- you know, the places/services that some people have to go/use.

This is like a lesson in how to facilitate older people while honouring who they are. What a class act by @ladygaga with legend Liza Minnelli. The conferred whispers of "I gotcha" "I know" picked up by the mikes make it especially touching.

if you choose to wear a mask indoors, you are not opposed to freedom. instead you might be aiding the freedom of someone who is immunocompromised to be there with you more safely.

Hollywood Blvd, Saturday, 11:22 AM: ANTI-VAXX PROTESTER: Do you see all of these homeless people around. Are they dead in the street with COVID? Hell no. Why? HOMELESS PERSON (walking by): Because I’m vaccinated you dumb fuck.

Protesting is a right-but please, not at hospitals. Patients going in are sick and scared. When I was getting treatment recently a person in cubicle beside me was told nothing more could be done. Imagine then walking through a protest. Please, don't make someone suffer even more
Hospitals across the country are preparing for a day of protest on Monday with demonstrations against pandemic protocols expected to hamper access to healthcare facilities, including one in downtown Toronto. bddy.me/390HLV9

Antivaxxers are planning to protest at hospitals in 10 provinces again on Monday. Antivaxxers should NOT be allowed to protest outside hospitals, harass health workers & shame patients trying to access care. RT if you agree

The ICU is full and after this surgery he’s going to need some time in there. BUT hey? He’s not as critical as the person who had the respiratory collapse with COVID. We have to triage. It’s just that the guy with covid could have really helped the guy with cancer. Big time. – at London, Ontario

Covid-19 isn't going to end but the pandemic will. It has to, even if it still feels interminable. Anxiety, fear, frustration are normal. Patience, hope & will may seem scarce but they will win out. Breathe. Keep your faith. We will beat this. Together.🙏

Wear a mask in public places. Make space for people. Be kind. Be patient. Get vaccinated. Change the story from a dire one, to a hopeful one Canada.

As politicians discuss #PaidSickDays while my essential worker patients languish in the ICU...it's ironic that the man who can fix this inequity, has taken a (paid) day off work.
While his Ministers take the heat for the second day in a row after Friday's ill fated announcement closing playgrounds and condoning random police stops - Doug Ford is again a no show in the legislature. #onpoli

4 of the 5 areas listed as 'hot spots' that have been less hard-hit by #COVID19Ontario are held by Conservative MPPs. 7 that have been left out but hit harder are held by Liberal and NDP MPPs. Your access to healthcare should never be determined by partisanship. #onpoli
These 'hot spots' getting vaccine priority are less hard-hit by COVID-19 than Ontario average ift.tt/3mCf8DM

This is an important reminder that Doug Ford and his government were warned by their own experts that we were heading in this direction two months ago. They were not surprised. They chose not to listen to the science. This 3rd wave and our current situation was a choice. #onpoli
Meanwhile in Ontario... • Reporter: “I’m a bit confused by this presentation … am I missing something here? Or is this presentation actually predicting a disaster?” • Co-chair of Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table: “No, I don’t think you’re missing anything...”

The @ongov and Dr. Williams claim to be surprised we find ourselves in this situation: -imperiled ICU capacity -cancelling surgeries -pending triage -3rd lockdown It's time to start listening to the Science table and to the people who are caring for patients. We can help.

(Posted with permission) My young, immune-deficient clinic patient & both parents (living with) now sick with #Covid19. Mom was sent home a few days ago due to a sick contact at school. She's a teacher. So far, wave #3 school safety is a fail. #Onpoli #OntEd
