The shareholder letter to the board on the merger was my initiative.
I am a Boeing 787 Pilot. I have been buying shares in Tesla and SpaceX since the IPO. The joint shareholder letter in the ratification vote was also my initiative. Alexandra, Kristen and I led the joint letter writing campaign to the Delaware court. And I obtained counsel to intervene in Delaware’s Tornetta case on behalf of shareholders.
Alexandra is the best. Both times she dropped everything and helped me when I asked for assistance with these letters to the Board. My account is small. Hers is not.
Alexandra and I were just talking about this yesterday. People just don’t understand that we have real and intense careers that have NOTHING to do with Tesla or SpaceX. We are shareholders like many others. We both own shares in SpaceX and Tesla. That is the extent of the relationship.
Hedge fund’s will “Talk their Book”. Some hedge funds actively protect their investment. Retail investors act similarly. Alexandra and I fall in the second category. If something is the right thing to do, we take action. Our track record speaks for itself. Others are keyboard warriors casting aspersions. I would prefer to be the one trying to make a difference.

We are launching the Tesla Robotaxi safety report today.
Till date, Robotaxi has driven a total of 3.3 million miles autonomously, and has had zero injuries nor airbag deployments. If the same number of miles were to be manually driven, we should expect roughly 9 injuries to the occupants or other pedestrians and 4 airbag deployments on average.
We will continue to transparently share our progress with the public using this page.

I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.

Tesla Japan says that free-charging campaigns and other factors have caused a big surge in demand, disrupting the supply balance.
To handle the higher volume, Tesla introduced an AI agent into its delivery process in July. It automates tasks from order placement through vehicle handover.
The company has also begun importing through Mikawa Port in Aichi Prefecture alongside its existing route through Daikoku Wharf in Yokohama. The two-port setup increases annual import capacity to about 48,000 vehicles, roughly double what Tesla had before. evwire.com/p/tesla-japan-del…

As someone working on EU legislation here in Brussels, I must say this fundamentally misinterprets how EU type-approval law and UNECE treaties interact. Let me explain.
A decision by the TCMV cannot "supersede" a UN Regulation. Here is why:
1. The October vote is an Article 39 Exemption, not a vote on UN law.
The upcoming comitology vote in the TCMV applies only to a provisional national exemption request under Article 39 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858. Article 39 is a temporary administrative shortcut used before a harmonized standard is in force. If the vote fails, only that temporary shortcut dies.
2. UN Regulations apply directly under EU law.
The EU is a Contracting Party to the 1958 UNECE Agreement (Council Decision 97/836/EC). Under the EU General Safety Regulation (GSR2 / Reg EU 2019/2144), valid UN Regulations—including UN R171 (DCAS)—are automatically recognized across all 27 Member States.
3. Comitology delegates cannot "veto" UN Regulations.
EU comitology committees do not have the legal power to block or override an active UN Regulation. Once UN R171 (02 Series) enters into force and a lead Type Approval Authority (like RDW) audits the software and issues a standard UN certificate (E-mark), Article 3 of the 1958 Agreement legally obliges all EU Member States to accept those vehicles on their roads.
So, basically, a negative vote in October delays the accelerated shortcut, yes. But it has zero legal power to block the standard UNECE pathway.
