According to The Verge, an official announcement of The Elder Scrolls VI will happen very soon, even as early as next month. It will be called "The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel", and will take place in the province of Hammerfell. The game's story will focus on the Elder Scrolls artifacts themselves, and uncovering the secrets of the Scrolls.

Iβve spent three years engaged in long-running and surprisingly civil arguments on here over whether AI is a cause of civilisational collapse or merely a symptom.
My view is that, just as AI prose and art could only possibly flourish in the context of a mass culture that was completely sclerotic and reduced to smashing tropes together, the sort of person whoβd get an LLM to tell them three nice things about their own child or make a podcast about what their child had been up to to listen to on the way to work was fundamentally inhuman long before AI came along.

Something about this whole affair really feels like it encapsulates this low, dishonest decade: a con artist who achieved a high social position by catering to progress as fashion, bullied into suicide by white nationalists who want to dismantle the concept of progress altogether
Jason Arday, the former University of Cambridge professor, has been found dead.
