During our visit to Makassar, I had the opportunity to visit the village of Batua to see the work of RISE - an Australian funded climate resilience project.
It includes flood-resistant pathways, rainwater harvesting systems, septic tanks and new ways to treat waste water.
Happy to share our now published version of our ES&T paper on passive sampling of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater! YAY!

Nice work South Australia! Using the torpedoes (or nicely renamed here as wastewater submarines) to successfully track SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater! #CovidPassiveSampler

David, First go with your Torpedo passive samplers yielded positive results - used in a location where we would have expected positives I might add - but so far so good ! (Photo-post exposure of one of the filters).
