On Murashov's new mask there's a very interesting design - a troika. In the context of hockey, the image works as a metaphor for speed and coordination: 3 horses running in unison echo team play and for a goalie - the need to be “fast and composed” in decisive moments

i don’t think you’re obligated to like heated rivalry, but i do roll my eyes at everyone in the qrts calling it soft porn. the beginning of shane and ilya’s relationship is meant to be “casual hook ups” and sex is the only way they communicate, so it’s pivotal to the story.
