why i linger in this corner of the internet after 1.5 years? even though i dislike social media in general? it's not for money. Lord knows that if it was for money alone, any person capable of basic reasoning and observation would've packed their bags when missing their shot at it.. twice. many left. i do not blame any of them. however, i used to wonder why people sell at the lows and leave. i concluded that it's just a matter of optics. for them it was never about the need to embrace the dog within. i doubt they lost the inner dialogue; more likely they did not have one to begin with. they saw it as another means to an end, and that's fine. i hope what you took away serves you well in the future. this post is not a shill for my crypto token of choice, truly. it is a letter of gratitude for those who chose to stay. it is about obtaining and maintaining superior grit and resilience when faced with adversity of any nature. to the people that remain - you have my deepest gratitude. it's so inspiring looking at your life journeys and how you overcome hardships. it's so humbling that i get to share in your stories along the way. we have a cowboy that moved 5500 calves in a day during winter. we have a young electrician who can wire an entire house on his own. he lost it all along the way, yet keeps showing up daily. we've got a guy doing sports medicine full time, who recently became a father and still wakes up in the early AM to get after it. we've got an artist that's worked on hundreds of pieces of personalized content to uplift any of the community members getting after it we have a dev that has not skipped a beat. he's been around every single day for nearly 2 years to lead by example. there are so many more i'm skipping over that show up every day and do what they can, which is all any of us can ever do. and there you have it, that's why i'm here. that's the reason. i'm in this community to get my daily fuel. i surrounded myself with people far better than me. i've left myself no doors to back out from. how could i fail them? how could i let them and myself down? i like saying that we're going to win, but honestly, i've already won.
