No he did not pay for the surgeries. They were done free of charge by Dr fola who is contesting for the House of Reps for Surulere 1 Constituency on the platform of the NDC in commemoration of Peter Obi's 65th birthday. She shared not long ago that PO came to appreciate the team.

To celebrate his 65th birthday, Peter Obi paid for the surgery of 65 children. If this man becomes President tomorrow, I'll certainly invest in the health and education sector. These sectors would have a boom under a Peter Obi presidency.
