🚨 Public services need a bailout in the Budget.
We're putting workers on a pedestal in Westminster to give them the recognition they deserve.
They show up for us. It's time the government showed up for them.

Channel 4’s Britains Gaza’s Secrets Exposed shows why Andy Burnham turned down Jeremy Corbyn’s call for a public enquiry into the Gaza genocide.
An enquiry would expose the UK government were advised that Israel were committing war crimes, but chose to keep arming them anyway.

Andy Burnham wants to get drilling again.
But did you know that a blacklisted Israeli conglomerate has taken almost £1 billion from North Sea oil and gas profits?
Now, the settlement-linked firm looks set for ANOTHER £200 million windfall. Here’s what I’ve discovered:🧵

So, given only 32% of Jewish kids attend non-Jewish schools, this data must mean that 187.5% of them ‘have faced anti-Semitism’.
Overblown doesn’t begin to cover this nonsense.

70% of Jewish children go to Jewish schools
3% to 5% Muslims go to Muslim schools

But only antisemitism is challenged !

His chancellor ordered this spy plane to fly over Gaza to collect intel for the genocidal Israeli military, with the information imparted in real-time
Of course Burnham doesn’t want an inquiry. His number 2 belongs in the Hague. We will not stop exposing the Labour génocidaires
NEW: Andy Burnham has officially rejected Jeremy Corbyn's call for a public inquiry into "British complicity" in Gaza.
The former Labour leader wrote to the PM in July asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry, which would look at any UK military, economic or political cooperation with Israel since October 2023.
This would include the power to question ministers on the supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases.
The idea was rejected by Starmer. The govt have confirmed in response to a written question today that their position remains unchanged under Burnham, saying an inquiry isn't necessary due to the "extensive mechanisms already available for parliamentary accountability and oversight".
Corbyn said:“Andy Burnham rightly said that the last Labour government “got it wrong” over Gaza. But his words will mean very little if he doesn’t break with the last government’s shameful record of complicity, secrecy and evasion.
"Many of us will remember in the aftermath of Iraq, the government of the day spent many years resisting attempts to uncover the truth. In the end, they could not prevent the inevitable. Just like Iraq, we will remember those who obstructed the path to justice."

So much for Burnham’s ‘we got it wrong on Gaza’ and Miliband’s ‘we hear you, you were right’ to the Palestine movement.
Blocking this call is continuity Starmer, but we know that to make real change happen the movement will have to keep on coming back and demanding it.
So Jeremy Corbyn is absolutely right to say there will be no retreat in the determination to expose the full extent of Britain’s complicity in the genocide.

🚨 NEW: The Government has accepted all 27 recommendations from the report to end antisemitism in schools and colleges

🚨 THIS SHOULD ALARM EVERY PARENT IN ENGLAND.
Tomorrow, the Government is expected to receive 27 recommendations on tackling antisemitism in schools and colleges.
Among the reported proposals:
• Schools to reconsider political symbols, including Palestinian watermelon badges.
• New guidance on teaching the Israel–Palestine conflict, emphasising political impartiality.
• Greater scrutiny of how teachers discuss geopolitical issues.
• Encouraging schools to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism, including its controversial examples relating to Israel.
Let me be absolutely clear...
Antisemitism must be challenged wherever it exists. Jewish children deserve to feel safe in every school.
But this is not about antisemitism.
IT IS ABOUT BRAINWASHING OUR CHILDREN TO COVER UP OUR GOVERNMENT'S COMPLICITY IN WAR CRIMES.
What the hell are we doing when expressing solidarity with Palestinians becomes something schools are encouraged to challenge?
When teachers are expected to demonstrate political impartiality, who decides what constitutes impartiality?
And since when should the documented genocide and displacement of Palestinians be treated as simply another political opinion?
Human rights ARE NOT a partisan position.
International law IS NOT a matter of political preference.
The slaughtering of civilians IS NOT something we should teach children to be indifferent about.
Education is being hijacked for political conditioning rather than encouraging children to think critically.
If we reach a point where children are discouraged from showing solidarity with victims of oppression, where teachers fear telling the truth about atrocities, and where political impartiality becomes a euphemism for silence, then we have crossed a truly terrifying, line.
Education should teach children to recognise injustice, question authority and stand up for humanity, not to condition them to look the other way when those in power are responsible.
And if our Government is more concerned about children wearing Palestinian badges than the suffering those badges represent, then we need to ask ourselves a very serious question:
Are we educating the next generation to prevent the atrocities of history from happening again, or teaching them how to accept them when they do?
