The Bridge of Tears, where Donegal people said goodbye to their families and friends before emigration, and its surrounds are simply stunning.

Great article in @irish_news on Tony O’Doherty, played for @ColeraineFC when I was growing up and was best I ever seen, also remember him against England at Wembley in 1970 and as an Irish league part timer outplayed a team full of World Cup winners. Great community man too!

Let’s not pretend that the placement of this ad hasn’t been the talk of dinner parties all over South Dublin this week.

KieranBeville, LimerickLeader on Johnny Fean Rhythm & Blues Festival. Oct 23/26th Shannon/Limerick. “A danger with memorial events is that reverence can overwhelm the thing being celebrated. Johnny Fean does not need musical embalming. A better tribute is an amplifier humming…”

Today’s @Independent_ie Oct10th @johnmeaghermuso opens the lid on the Box Set thoughts of #Horslips’ @lockyjim & @hotpress #StuartClark. In Horslips’ case, recordings & performances had been dispersed over half a century. The trawl repeatedly produced surprises.
