A new initiative called Project Pangea brings together 37 European banks, 10+ Korean banks, regulated stablecoins, SWIFT - @swiftcommunity messaging, and @Chainlink infrastructure.
The goal?
Move FX settlement from T+2 (2 days) to T+0 (near instant).
What's fascinating isn't just the scale.
It's the architecture.
🏦 Banks keep using SWIFT.
💶 Regulated stablecoins move the value.
⬡ Chainlink translates instructions between systems and executes atomic settlement.
No bridge currency.
No replacing banking infrastructure.
No forcing everyone onto one blockchain.
Just interoperability.
This is exactly why I've said for years:
The future of finance isn't one ledger.
It's many ledgers connected by a common coordination layer.
The internet didn't win because everyone used the same computer.
Finance won't win because everyone uses the same blockchain.
Different institutions.
Different currencies.
Different ledgers.
Same infrastructure.
