Took my 13 and 10 to Mass at Detroit’s oldest church, followed by a visit to @EasternMarket for #allthingsdetroitday , capped off with a trip to @SlowsBarBQ for lunch. Contrary to what some people think, time spent in Detroit is good for the soul.

#EasternMarket is a beloved Detroit landmark and has been at the ❤️ of the city’s vibrant food culture and community life for over 130 years.
Established in 1891, it is one of the oldest continuously operating public markets in the United States, deeply rooted in Detroit’s agricultural and industrial history.
