Babadogo Riverside People's Park that is being rehabilitated and transformed by @LensOasis is being vandalized.The park is along Mathare River not far from Tempo Art Centre.The space has suffered vandalism so many times.

More owners are claiming Tempo Art Centre.The children did not come to play today because they are afraid of what might happen.This is one of the largest green spaces in Eastlands.It has to be defended and protected.

10 year old trees have been felled again at Tempo Art Centre.The people on site are saying the land and trees have owners.Tempo Art centre was an abandoned quarry which was reclaimed and has been in use by communities for 28 years.

This is a wetland.Buildings around the area have water marks.It should not be built up.The buildings will be a health and environmental hazard.
The youth have been doing work along riparian zones on the Nairobi Rivers Ecosystem with lots of challenges.This launch is happening when one of the spaces is being grabbed and built up.Tempo Art Centre a space where children play,youth grow food and nature their athletic talents

Tempo Art Centre is a home to many indigenous tree species and fairly grown trees we grew in the past few years.It has micro Climate given the kind of vegetation that has been there.

This is one of the most beautiful spaces reclaimed by the community there. Government dimwits are cutting trees ppl have planted and allowing construction of permanent structures there. See how beautiful and green the space was a few months ago. Make noise to save the space.

This place is a haven for many. Sleep on the grass, Watch the acrobats train, Children choreographing their dances, concerts, plant trees etc. The young farmers often send me home with bananas, cassava, 🌽, whatever is ripe on the farm. The space is a haven for this community.

Unfortunately one of the grabbers is already greying.Help us save Tempo Art Centre for the sake of nature.The neighbourhoods that use it as a recreational and farming space.The children that use to nature their athletics skills and the generation of acrobats it bore.
@NemaKenya there have been reports of this case.Why are people building in riparian spaces?@WRA_KEN put beacons. @SakajaJohnson you have been here before and seen how important the space is especially for lower Eastlands.
