🚨 ALERT: If you use WhatsApp on iOS, you’re a target.
Attackers are exploiting a WhatsApp flaw together with an Apple flaw, hiding their attack inside a single malicious image.
Open it, and memory corruption kicks in: your device could crash, or worse, run their code instead of yours.
Still unaffected? Don’t gamble, update WhatsApp immediately.
Already suspecting an exploit? The only safe move is a full device reset, then update to the latest versions.
One picture shouldn’t own your phone. Don’t let it.
WhatsApp has patched a vulnerability that was used alongside an Apple vulnerability in zero-click attacks.
WhatsApp advised the affected users to perform a full factory reset of their phone to make sure they are rid of the malware.
