Since #BeyondTheGates is airing reruns next week, I’ll instead live-tweet watching classic #OneLifeToLive episodes from across the decades. M: July 11, 1969 episode T: Larry and Karen’s wedding W: Tina learns she’s a Lord Th: Billy’s coming-out episode F: Asa’s funeral #OLTL

Somebody on the chat says “I’m tired of the Articulettes,” then stop watching the show. This integrates Black history into our drama, if you don’t like that, don’t watch. The Diana Ross-inspired Supremes story is key to the show narrative about Eva and Dana. #BeyondTheGates

I just realized that Barbara does not just represent Flo, but she represents Annette Beard, Barbara Martin, and pretty much every forgotten original or key member of a girl group who missed stardom. #BeyondTheGates

Martin: “I want to be the leader that you believe I can be.” Vernon: “Well, pat yourself on the back, son, because you already are.” #BeyondTheGates

Dan Gauthier should’ve been kept through the finale, because his Kevin (Lord Riley) Buchanan, for a role that was the second-most recast on #OLTL after Dr. Dan Wolek, he truly made his own.

Laura Harrier was a decent recast, but Shenell Edmonds was such a phenomenal Destiny. #OLTL
