UPDATE: Most of the residents at the Matamoros encampment have left to indoor shelters because the temp is expected to drop in the 20s tonight. Also, the Sidewalk School staff went to all 3 camps in Reynosa giving out donations and giving directions to indoor shelters.

On New Year’s Eve a group of asylum seekers were on U.S. soil (in Brownsville, TX) arriving at 4am stuck behind RAZOR WIRES and were left there until today (New Year’s Day). In the group was a pregnant woman having contractions and a special needs child. This is inhumane.
