#PitchYaGame Take a look at my first Steam game that just released a couple of days ago! It is an old school style pet battler with semi-random stats and movepools. There are 5 different rare variant forms you can find that have big gameplay effects!
What do you guys think when you go back and play your very first game?
Started a playthrough of my first game since it has finally been long enough since development and I can play it with fresh eyes. I was a little disappointed on release. Sales were low and I felt like I made an awful game. But I am actually having a lot of fun #gamdev #indiegame

Added two new abilities yesterday. Spearmen get a buff when they are near 4 or more Spearmen, greatly boosting their armor. Archers can occasionally fire a volley of 3 shots at nearby targets. #gamedev #indiegame #solodev
Implemented some early ui yesterday. Hoping to add some more today. Goal is a small playable demo level by the end of next month. #gamedev #indiegame
If you haven’t already, it would mean a ton if you check out my first game! There is a free demo and the full game is only $8 for a roughly 15 hour playthrough (more if youre a completionist) #indiegame #videogames

Very early placeholder art (just like all of the UI) but I got the unit selection ai up and running. Something about adding ui really makes it feel like the game is coming together. #gamedev #indiegame
Implementing some simple us for abilities for the time being. If you select a group of the same unit and click the ability button, all units will use their ability if possible. Don't surround a group of Knights-Errant! #gamedev #indiegame
First active ability added to the game! The Knight-Errant can break out a whirlwind move to turn the tides back to your favor! #gamedev #indiegame
Dont underestimate the power of a pack of explodey boyz! #gamedev #indiegame
Finally have the beginnings of the ability system working! Any baneling fans in the house? Plague slimes do a little dance before exploding, doing damage and a small amount of damage over time to enemies #gamedev
For my latest entry in mundane updates, added damage over time and buffs/debuffs this week. Hoping to get the ability system up and running soon so I can get working on the core loop and get an MVP up and running #gamedev
Hey guys! If are looking for a fun Monster-Tamer and don't want to break the bank, be sure to take a look at my first game, Xenos! All proceeds go toward my game dev hobby to make even better #videogames! There is a demo and 100% positive reviews! #gaming store.steampowered.com/app/2…
Not the sexiest of updates but I added double click to select all nearby units of the same type and control groups. Messing around with some post processing as well but still a ways to go. #gamedev
A little difficult to tell due to the Unity Editors horrible performance, but I found a way to make performance pretty stable so far. This is about 24 workers, 35 player units and enemy units ranging from 10 - 20 with fairly stable performance and no pathfinding hiccups #gamedev
If anyone is looking for a pet battler rpg and have already played all the big ones, Xenos is on sale for 40% off right now on #Steam #indiegame

Starting to realize that in an RTS you need to focus way more on optimization. So I have been doing some refactoring today (because I love committing #gamedev sins!) and it turns out I really enjoy a GetComponent call. Like a lot.
Hey #gamedev folks, how do you work on game ideas? I always struggle with having more ideas than time. How do you handle it? Would love to hear comments about your process as I am still trying to find my groove #indiedev #gamedevelopment
