This Canada-wide Rogers outage really highlights the dangers of monopolized industries. When one malfunction can put half of a country’s economy on pause, we have a big problem.

As Ontario locks down again, it remains shocking to see the liquor and beer stores remain open while gyms close.

One of the toughest parts of teaching is learning about the adversity that some kids have to endure. Often we are fortunate to have had a much easier path. We need to walk a mile in their shoes before judging them. So important to understand each kid's
story. #lovethekids

#ONStorm: Remember, when buses are cancelled, there is no school or child care. This means no remote learning for students from in-person or from the Elementary Remote Learning Program. Call is made by 6am. Our spotters will be out.
Severe weather + Bus cancellation = No school

If you haven't taught virtually yet, get used to hearing:
My camera doesn't work.
My mic doesn't work.
My wifi is slow.
My computer is lagging.
I got kicked out.
I can't find it.
I can't open it.
I don't get it.
What are we doing?
I can't hear you.

A sneak peek – before the snow stays – of the beautiful new Spring Valley Elementary School being built on the former C.H. Bray site. Space for ~500 students, and a child care centre, it will be a great addition to the Ancaster community when it opens this winter. #schoolrenewal
