Uh oh guess we're not going to the land of the free after all 😢
WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE President Trump escalated his invective against Norway, calling it a ‘shit house country’ and saying Norwegian immigrants are not welcome in the United States because the Nobel committee, based in the capital Oslo, has not awarded him a Peace Prize reut.rs/3U1joSt

This is beyond parody. Residents in Rotherham are bravely fighting the construction of a …Primary School Assembly Hall.  Their worry?  It would host school plays, community classes, and could mean more congestion. Now the application has to go before a planning committee.  Whether your child’s Nativity play goes ahead is now at mercy of the local council. If building a SCHOOL HALL needs a fight, imagine trying to build anything else. We have the RADICAL OPINION that we should say yes to a school hall. What do you think?

Are we actually gonna make it after all @The_Godas ? My favourite water well driller $AXL.V appears filthy cheap on paper, and with the Iran conflict having no real solution IDK how the oil price returns to normal...
If we see $125 by Christmas Arrow Exploration $AXL.V will be making: 6500 bpd x ~$80 netbacks x 365: $189M netbacks a year. The stock is right now worth $153M. Everything comes down to the Tapir extension now.

Yancoal Australia ($YAL) Investment Thesis (2026) 1) @respeculator said it was cheap, so I aped in blindly 2)
Yancoal Australia ($YAL) Investment Thesis (2026) 1) Meaning: Australian thermal heavy coal producer with increasing met coal exposure through Kestrel. 2) Moat: Large-scale low-cost mines + strong cash generation + proximity to key Asian buyers. 3) Management: ~70% Chinese state-controlled ownership + strong M&A track record + solid incentives and dividend policy. 4) Margin of Safety: Attractive cycle-adjusted cash flows + strong FCF yield, but coal cyclicality + SOE/political risk remain. If you're long #coal but not $YAL.AX , you're doing it wrong...

A$340m cash build while paying a ~A$100m dividend.. ie a true A$450m cash increase or A$50/t cash margin on the 9mt of sales. Spot is +A$25/t on the quarter ASP. And likely more sales in Q4 with no longwall move at Moorlaben. Add in Kestrel and can I get a A$80/t on 12mt quarter in Q4?

You pay for this with your taxes. Natural England has done something unusual. They’ve actually allowed homes to be built. But… they have banned the elderly residents living there from… having cats. Yes, you did read that correctly. If you own a home on View Road in Medway, you are BANNED from having cats. Why? Because Natural England said so. Natural England is a completely unelected, and a completely unaccountable body. People will come up with complicated reasons as to why this is acceptable. It is not. An undemocratic body should NEVER be able to dictate if your grandparents can have pets. We think the answer is simple, and overdue. We need to abolish them. Why does Natural England think they can control lives like this?

Hearing just how much supports & grants my mother in law is getting from being a South African asylum seeker in the US has radicalised me. The republicans is right, asylum seekers are really getting everything handed to them by tax payer dime...

Every... Time... $YAL.AX $TER.AX
So I've become a full blown #coal bro as of late, owning $TER.AX & $YAL.AX. Gonna top up with $TGA.LN as well, and probably chase $STO.AX for some additional "EU is cooked" exposure to hedge my energy bill.

Replying to @tuvidux
I think it's hard to go past Yancoal here.. 44mtpa and trades at A$8bn EV (A$180 per tonne).. even Kestrel is 20% thermal... and I would argue the wholeco is 90%+ thermal even though the company likes to claim otherwise. A$180/t price.. today probably making A$90/t margins.. at A$350/t Newcastle (US$245/t).. 😋

Show me a better risk/reward trade today than thermal coal miners.. Russia, Indonesia & China have production issues, India (and Europe) have inventory issues.. and gas is trading at like >US$300/t Newcastle equivalent. Meanwhile at US$150/t Newcastle the miners trade at 2-3x EBITDA with multi decade mine lives (likely pricing in US$120/t NEWC)... 🤔🤔
