Six officers come in hot and over confident -- to remove an auditor from a public building -- instead they shuffle out disappointed and looking down at the floor.
Long Island Audit (Sean Paul Reyes) was conducting a First Amendment audit inside the Ramapo Town Hall in Ramapo, New York—a public, taxpayer-funded building. He was filming in publicly accessible areas and preparing to file a FOIA request.
Town Hall staff confronted him, insisted filming was not allowed, and called the Ramapo Police Department.
Roughly 8–10 officers responded.
Female Officer Winter approached, began by giving him orders to retreat, claimed she had authority over him, ordered him to leave the building, and participated in efforts to detain him and demanded ID.
Sergeant Mayer and others backed the same aggressive approach.
Officers never clearly articulated a crime or reasonable suspicion.
Reyes repeatedly asked what crime they suspected and whether he was detained, stayed calm, and asserted his right to film and conduct public business in a public building.
The large response of officers for one man with a camera eventually stood down — and took what he called a “walk of shame.”
He later filed a formal complaint at Ramapo PD headquarters.
Outcome: no arrest, no charges, complaint filed against the sergeant and officers involved.
❓How would you describe Winter’s attitude and body language in that hallway?
❓How much of Winter’s attitude was training versus personality?
❓What part of the response felt most unnecessary to you, the number of officers or the aggressive attitude?

If you loved Mobland, you definitely need to watch Ray Donovan, the same gritty gangster vibes, high end action and Ray Donovan is basically Harry Da Souza, both equally badass in their cleanup jobs🔥

Is there a natural powerhouse sitting right in your spice cabinet? Many are discovering the incredible versatility of cayenne pepper, often touted for its ability to support healthy circulation without the harsh side effects associated with conventional blood thinners.
This deep dive explores how this humble spice works with the body’s innate intelligence—dilating vessels where blood flow is needed and even constricting them to support healing elsewhere, like with ulcers. While conventional options like aspirin and warfarin come with their own risks, proponents of herbal support point to cayenne as a gentle, effective way to encourage better blood flow. It’s a fascinating look at how traditional wisdom often aligns with modern needs for holistic health.
After an incident, finding every affected user and emailing them used to be a day of scripts and log searches.
Now you ask Amp. @thorstenball: “with agents, you can do stuff that was previously unreasonable.”

Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

🚨BREAKING: JAPAN WILL ASK EVERY CITIZEN TO STOCK FOOD, WATER AND TOILET SUPPLIES FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS, IDEALLY 1 WEEK.
Britain, France, Germany and the EU have already told their people to keep emergency supplies ready.
Here's what's happening:
→ THE REQUEST: Disaster minister Goshi Hosono will issue an "emergency request" to every citizen, the central ministries and all prefectures on November 2.
→ 1 WEEK: He wants food, water and toilet supplies at home for "at least 3 days" and, "if possible, 1 week."
→ ON YOUR OWN: He wants every home able to get by "even without public help."
→ THE THREATS: a Nankai Trough quake, a quake right under Tokyo, giant quakes along the Japan and Chishima trenches, and a Mount Fuji eruption.
→ DAY ONE: Japan is LAUNCHING a new Disaster Management Agency that same day, and the request will come on its first day.
Think about this.
People in Japan saw the headline and asked online if World War 3 was coming.
The minister's own list is earthquakes and a volcano.
In 6 days, every citizen in Japan gets the same ask: 3 days at least, 1 week if possible.
Follow me. I'll post the full request on November 2, the day it goes out.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Japan’s government has long advised households to keep at least 3 days, and ideally about 1 week, of food and water at home for natural disasters such as earthquakes. This appears in the national Basic Disaster Management Plan and in Tokyo’s official preparedness guidance.

Lots of people will suddenly start to Believe when price goes up a lot.
Price Up === more attention, “confirmation”, evidence, and a “social excuse” to Believe.
But those people will earn lower returns compared to those that *already* Believed long before price went up a lot.

The price of Intelligence will gradually decline towards the price of Compute,
which itself will gradually decline towards the price of Electricity,
which itself will continue to become cheaper and cheaper over time.
This is why every science fiction novel has Kardashev-II civilizations building Dyson Spheres and Matrioshka Brains.
They need all that energy to simulate microscopic outcomes on macroscopic scales.
