We’re delighted that @scotgov has adopted many of our suggestions around school uniform in their new guidance, especially "Branded items of uniform and blazers should not be compulsory, nor promoted or encouraged by schools".
Education Secretary @JennyGilruth spoke to pupils and teachers about new school uniform guidance which prioritises pupil comfort, freedom and happiness.
It features measures for schools to develop their own affordable and sustainable policies.
