We stand tall in support of Dr. Robert Candia.
Pocketing is normal after all, our arms need to rest, be protected from contamination or kept warm sometimes.
Plus, respect, if this is what this all about, is earned and reciprocated.
Dear @MoWT_Uganda what happens when you make Bwindi, Kanungu roads to that same standard. Huge revenue is being generated from Gorilla trekking but somehow we can't be like Murchison Falls NP. @HonByamukama

@MoWT_Uganda informs motorists and tourists travelling from Kisoro to Rushaga and Nkuringo sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park that River Mucha Bridge has collapsed and rendered the crossing impassable.
Road users are advised to use alternative route via Kisoro – Karengyere – Nyanamo – Rubuguri – Rushaga – Nkuringo. The diversion is a motorable murram road, with journey times expected to increase by approximately 30–45 minutes. Our technical team has embarked on an emergency intervention to address the situation. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously, especially during rainy conditions, and set off early to minimise delays.
We remain committed to provide safe , reliable transport infrastructure and services.

Institutional corruption survives because institutions often attack the messenger before examining the message. As many express shock over the digital number plate saga, remember that @amronaldo publicly raised concerns years ago. Many dismissed him as a bitter man, a hater, or a nuisance. Today, we act as though this reality arrived overnight. A nation that silences those who question power should never be surprised when accountability arrives late and at a far greater cost.
Our greatest weakness is not corruption itself. It is our habit of sacrificing truth-tellers to protect systems that later fail us all. Strong nations do not fear uncomfortable voices. They investigate them. Weak institutions personalise criticism instead of confronting it. History is unforgiving. It remembers those who warned, those who ignored, and those who applauded the silence.
But has @SanMarinoTeam ever won a football match or they hold a @GWR for most losses ever recorded by any nation in world football? 🤔

Mota engil did great work on that highway. I appreciate it too. A benchmark for major highways.
Kudos to Mota-Engil Construction 🚧 👏
Please @MoWT_Uganda , use this Lira-Kamudini road as a gold standard for Highways. The warning strips are warning strips. Not bumps meant to destroy cars. They are placed about 100 yards from the hump. The humps are gentle humps. The signs are exactly where they are supposed to be. Was this by an accident? Doesn't the ministry have technical specifications? Same should apply to @KCCAUG . Your humps, warning strips are destructive.

Gary O'Neil on Arsenal and Max Dowman:
"I’ve definitely not had a 16-year-old as good as Max Dowman around my group! I think he's in a great spot. He's got one of the best coaches around. Arsenal are one of my favourite teams to watch and to study, for the work that Mikel's done there. It's a very humble team as well, there's no superstars in it, there's no one that doesn't get their work done." 👏

To every journalist and media house that covered the final journey of our fallen King, Mwebale munonga.
Through cold nights, long hours and meagre resources, you remained at your posts and brought millions closer to a moment of profound national grief.
You became the eyes of those who could not be there and the bridge between a grieving Kingdom and the world.
The assignment was painful, yet the coverage remained dignified and professional.
History will remember the King’s final journey. It should also remember those who stayed awake so the nation could witness it.
To Uganda’s media fraternity, I salute you.

@R_Nabbanja forced labour is illegal especially if enforced without the authority of an Act of Parliament. You’re enforcing an executive order that never went through the consultation stage, no assessment etc. You’re forcing people to pay an illegal tax.
Stop using your officers and @PoliceUg to brutalize Ugandans.
If this is necessary as you want to insist, bring a bill before @Parliament_Ug to fix issues of compliance.

Today, CDA Cleverley and Uganda's new Minister of Works and Transport Fred Byamukama dug into how U.S. companies can help deliver the roads, bridges, and transport systems connecting communities and driving growth. The United States is ready to help accelerate Uganda's infrastructure goals.
