The big issue with this is we’re not a different team to last season. 10 of yesterday’s starting XI also played away at Spurs for the final game of last season. The only new starter yesterday was Johnson replacing Ndiaye, which is a downgrade in quality. We’re worse off.

Lookman, Kean and Gordon have all put up 20+ G/A since leaving Everton, Lookman has done this three times and Gordon twice. While only one Everton player has achieved this in the last 6 years, DCL in 2020/21.
