Chatunga Mugabe and Four Security Aides Granted Bail in Robbery Case
Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, son of the late former President Robert Mugabe, has been granted US$100 bail alongside four security aides accused of robbing Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) official Lloyd Mupanduki. The other accused are Munashe Mubhawu, Terence Johannes Chinyemba, Fredson Peter and Solomon Pamire. Their release followed the State's decision not to oppose bail, citing the absence of compelling reasons to keep them in custody.
The five were ordered to remain at their known residential addresses, report to the police once every week and refrain from interfering with State witnesses. They are expected to return to court on November 24 for possible allocation of a trial date.

Collins Mnangagwaβs in-laws plead guilty in drug cases, fined
Several drug-related cases involving Collins Mnangagwaβs in-laws have ended in guilty pleas, with the accused being ordered to pay fines.
Amina Arab was fined US$200, or 20 days in prison if she fails to pay. Noreen Jessub was fined US$250, or 25 days in prison, while Dyonne was ordered to pay US$300, or serve 30 days behind bars if she fails to pay.
In a separate case, Kelsea Tafirenyika pleaded guilty to possessing prescription medicines without proper authorisation. She was found with pethidine and morphine sulphate at a house in Greystone Park on 4 August 2026, in violation of the Medicines and Allied Substances Control Act.
Magistrate Ignatio Kudakwashe Mhene fined her US$300 for this offence. She also pleaded guilty to possessing five prepared rolls of cannabis weighing 0.004kg and was fined an additional US$100.
However, the money laundering charge against Tafirenyika was dropped after prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to secure a conviction.
