The future of scientific research is here.
Recently, I was fortunate to speak with @brian_armstrong & @joycesticks about @ResearchHub - a platform to upload/discuss science papers. Brian also shares details on @newlimit!

Researchers engineered an enzyme to reverse CML, an advanced glycation end product considered an irreversible marker of aging.
In this video, I breakdown the findings and give my thoughts!

AI can now design antibodies to hit a target you pick — no animals, no massive screens.
I spoke with @santimillef to unpack Germinal, the open-source pipeline behind it.
We discuss how it works, the bottlenecks and what's next :

thank you, @EleanorSheekey for your questions and @agingdoc1 for spreading the link.
Here lifespan.io/news/playing-the… and here biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… are the popular and academic versions of the narrative discussed on the podcast.
Friends, help please, as usual, spread the story with your likes and reposts. It's a lot better having a bad theory than none at all - let's get to the core of this.
How We Should Target Aging | Peter Fedichev
Love what @EleanorSheekey is doing with @SheekeyScience. One of the sharpest geroscience #scicomm channels around, and @fedichev always brings the fire 🧪

Are we targeting aging the wrong way?
In this interview with Peter Fedichev (@fedichev), CEO of Gero, we discuss why many longevity interventions may only be tackling “level 1” aging.

🎉 Congrats to #AGE2026 Early Career Scholar Awardee Eleanor Sheekey (@BDR_RIKEN)!
Recognized by the #AmericanAgingAssociation, her research studies how the extracellular matrix shapes cellular rejuvenation — uncovering how tissue environments influence aging and regeneration.

It turns out with a bit of physics, you don't need 300 theories to explain aging—just 3 variables.
In this video I show how this model can be used to categorise longevity interventions into 3 distinct levels based on their potential to extend lifespan.

理研のEleanor(@EleanorSheekey )さんによる「Cells vs. the ECM: who's in charge of tissue aging?」の講演となります。
ECMの老化に関するお話になります。
第2部では、交流会となりますので、奮ってのご参加をお待ちしております。

ALT 発表タイトル:Cells vs. the ECM: who's in charge of tissue aging? 発表者:Eleanor Sheekey/ (RIKEN, BDR, PostDoc) 概要:As we age, not only do cells age, but changes also occur in the ECM. The question remains - which is more dominant in the aging process? Using novel functional reconstitution assays that pair young cells with aged ECM and vice versa, we're testing whether cellular youth or matrix vitality exerts stronger rejuvenating effects. In this talk I will introduce ECM aging and explain in detail my experimental approach to address this question.
