This is how you build a tech hub: research, hospitals and companies actually talking to each other. France keeps waiting for ministry decrees to do the same job. Groningen just started.
🚀Could Groningen become Europe’s Polymer Valley? With world-class research, trong industry partnerships,a unique ecosystem connecting academia, hospitals, companies,Groningen is perfectly positioned to lead the future of biomaterials & medical innovation🧬💊nvnom.aflip.in/NOMMER56

Intel recently showed the real package and chip of Crescent Island. And we have the chip shot with the highlighted areas from the Hot Chips conference. I'm surprised, it looks pretty small. Do we know the node is manufactured on?

‌ Energy giant ENGIE says hackers broke into a marketing tool used by its partners and accessed customer data in France. It runs from names, emails and phone numbers to meter IDs and contract numbers, but not bank details. ENGIE has not said how many customers are affected.

Atreides' @gavinsbaker says more of the AI buildout in 2027 will be financed by operating cash flow than people expect, and that we're getting close to peak external financing: "All these clouds signed contracts at well below current market values. As those contracts reprice higher, as they bring on more compute with more spot — the same thing that CoreWeave is trying to do — I do think you're going to see a pretty continuous acceleration in the sum of the big hyperscaler cloud revenue growth. For the neoclouds, that number is just going to continue to accelerate." "And then it's dropping down at very high margins. So operating cash flow is following. And then you're going to be able to finance more of the 2027 buildout than people think from cash flow." "I don't know if we've seen the peak of external financing, but I think we're getting close."

Only because I suck at organic modeling & I've been wanting this rare #Halloween🎃 decoration for so long, the only thing I would attempt to use #Ai for is a #Department56 Lamp Post that has a Vulture on it holding either a lantern or jack-o'-lantern. For myself only. UnPublished

I support converting old bed slingers into something more useful, we have much better 3d printers these days that work way better.
Part of the lab cleanup involves tearing down 5 of these old 3D printers to salvage useful parts. Stepper motors, linear rails, and whatever else could be used to build artificial muscle fabricators. I might as well save what I can before recycling the rest.

congrats!! been awesome to work with infisical since day 1 during the w23 yc batch now they are one of the best solutions to manage secrets for not just agents but also identity across all software stacks
Today, we’re announcing Infisical’s $40M Series B at a $600M valuation, led by @eladgil. AI has made it 10x easier to write code, 10x easier to find vulnerabilities, and given autonomous agents access to some very sensitive systems. The problem is that much of today’s security infrastructure wasn’t built for any of this. We’re changing this with @infisical. Today, over 1,300 organizations trust us to secure their infrastructure, including Airbus, First American Financial, Hugging Face, OpenRouter, and Wise. Proud of what our team has built so far. Even more excited about what we have ahead of us. Back to work.

Ben alors ?
