Today, August 7th, the #Battle of #Boyacá is commemorated in #Colombia.
This was the most important #confrontation of the #independence of Colombia that guaranteed the success of the Liberating Campaign of New Granada (that was the name of Colombia at that time)
#batalladeboyaca
This Colombian sentence is used to express in a humorous way that someone did not say hello when he or she should have and that it is generally bad manners not to do so.

Did you know that today is International Friendship Day? 💡
In honor of this day, today at Elefun we send a special greeting to all those special people who have trusted us and become our friends.
And, to celebrate, what better way to do it than by reviewing the different ways that exist to refer to a "friend" in Spanish.
