Lucky enough to work with the best in the college baseball biz with @PurdueBaseball's @ElginBen. Having listened to him type away on baseball or swimming updates or Tweets or IG posts or whatever at 3 a.m. on road trips, I can say for certain no one works harder.
College sports information directors are part of the lifeblood of an athletic department. Underpaid, overworked and behind the scenes people who raise the brand of their student-athletes, coaches & schools. On this @CollSportsComm Appreciation Week, thank you SIDs for all you do!
The eldest & wisest of the Charters Bros. says I can take credit for sending the email that put him at 50k 🤯
…and I did it while sitting at the bar at the nicest BDubs in Ypsilanti. What a world.
Check your email foo…
Also have to say the stats don’t write themselves or find themselves, so it’s fair to say @PurdueBaseball SID Ben Turner Tweets has also been on a hitting streak.

Happy Holidays from your @PurdueSports Strategic Communications office!
Zoom in and assess our collective gift giving prowess (remember, it’s the thought that counts).
I learned of @Matt_Rector's passing in an unusual way, only adding to a feeling that it wasn't "real." But Rector was mos def one of the real ones at Purdue.
From the OG cubicles to our adjacent offices during the pandemic, his POV was always welcome & reassuring. #BeKind 🙏🐶❤️
For today’s game, we will honor former SID Matt Rector, a long-time Purdue employee, who passed away unexpectedly on November 16.
Rector retired from Purdue in Sept. 2021, ending a 14-year tenure, during which he worked with our program on a daily basis. #BoilerUp for Rector!
Did this graphic accidentally use 2 photos of Lance Lynn & omit Lucas Giolito? Could be wrong but sure looks that way… #ChangeTheGame @WhiteSox
Make it 3 grand slams (all to RF) in as many innings to begin the game for @NUCatsBaseball. Mike Trautwein gets in on the fun this time.
Northwestern up 13-1 vs an MSU pitcher that worked 8 scoreless last Friday in same stadium against Maryland.
Life is stranger than fiction...
Vince Bianchina & Stephen Hrustich have hit grand slams in the first 2 innings for @NUCatsBaseball. I've been a college baseball SID for 16 years. I've never seen that before.
Always a brave new world...

Paul has been an excellent teammate for many years, both at Mackey & on the Arni Cohen softball fields.
Lots of great projects & posters for @PurdueSports over the years, but tough to top this one... #BoilerUp
I might as well tweet it now — In a few short weeks it will be my last day with Purdue Athletics. I've been SO VERY BLESSED for the opportunity I've had for the past 10 years...but it's time for a new adventure. I'll still be around, just in the stands for a change 😉 #BoilerUp
Nicely done @Forman. Let's Go Go Go White Sox. #BoilerUp #SouthSide
Tonight, @RobbieHummel and I are back together. The Purdue game notes say this about our partnership:
E'Twaun still ranks as my favorite Boilermaker on the hardwood since I joined Purdue in October 2010. #BoilerUp
Definitely glad I bailed on the club this week. 7am & lingering snow/ice is just too much when #RunForFun is already not my thing.
Actually blamed my absense on the line drive off the leg Friday at @PurdueBaseball practice.
Local businesses, shovel your sidewalks. @WestLafayetteIN, what's up with the snow-covered greenways? And a thank you to that jackel motorist, was a solid exchange of the bird we shared. Overall, a solid morning running in our fair cities.
It has definitely been a busy road stretch for @BoilerBall dating back to the trip to Jersey.
Let's talk after you work/travel with a Big Ten baseball/softball team in February & March. Especially with no charter flights...
