6ix9ine figured out something about rap that most artists didn't:
Attention > Mystery.
ALT Everyone talks about 6ix9ine's controversies, but almost nobody talks about the strategy that made him one of the biggest rappers in the world. While other rappers tried to stay mysterious, 6ix9ine embraced interviews, livestreams, internet culture, and viral content to stay in front of fans 24/7. Looking back, he may have helped pioneer the creator-era blueprint that many artists follow today. Do you think 6ix9ine was ahead of his time?

Back when 50K–80K views was considered HUGE, he was already building a cult following online and influencing artists like XXXTentacion, Trippie Redd, Lil Uzi Vert & NBA YoungBoy 👀🔥
Did That Mexican OT fall off… or did he choose his core audience over mainstream fame? 👀
