Clara's album came out at midnight, this is my favourite song - didn't feel right to be a single, like it's a special gift for those that commit. Deserves the world she does.

Working in music in 2026 is just a perpetual cycle of feeling immortal followed by wanting to die, with increasingly short intervals, often multiple cycles per day, it is an absolutely unsustainable, absurd way to live.

Clara Mann's 'Wishbone' posits that even if love isn’t predicated on chance, it doesn't lose its poetic appeal. That's why love is poetry: it chooses you.
'Wishbone' is a [9/10] out Friday. tinyurl.com/ClaraMann1
Is there a better ‘statement of intent’ first track from a first album than Turn The Page by The Streets? I’m saying, hard no.

I wanted taxpayer-funded statues of the Viet Cong xitter.cf/CllrChrisEynon/status/…
Recently, I’ve taken heavy flak from the usual suspects for refusing to assist in a memorial to 20 men who went to fight with the communist-organised International Brigades.
What next? Taxpayer-funded statues of the Viet Cong? The Weather Underground? Or, God forbid, Jamie Driscoll?
Not one penny of council taxpayers’ money or time will go towards this absolute nonsense.
I’d much rather see public money used to honour the 20,000 patriots from Wearside who answered their actual country’s call in the First World War.
The correct answer here is John Lurie, the Lounge Lizards were great and he did the soundtrack to Get Shorty, he also starred in Jarmusch’s two best films and the seminal HBO series Oz (and had a really show where he went finishing with people like Tom Waits and Willen Defoe).
One of the lads in Stranger Things was the drummer in a very 00’s London messy / loud dance punk duo who were pretty good at the time, though very little of that stuff has stood the test of time well.

Dead proud to say I’m gonna be performing with Bill Ryder-Jones and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Alexandra Palace and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall next month. We’re gonna play Bill’s debut album If… in full, and a few newies too! 🖤

.@Harry_Styles tells @thomyorke he used to feel "really labor-focused" about art.
“If it was walking and then seeing a painting and doing that, like, oh, that can't have taken more than ten minutes or whatever. And I felt like to justify it, I had to be in the studio for months at a time and like just in there.”
Thom Yorke responds: “That's your imposter syndrome speaking.”
