Looking forward to teaching another week of #WorldMusicDrumming! We are in the Dallas, TX, area this week & are set up, ready to go for the week. I love seeing the transformation in participants as individuals, as a group, and as teachers as we move from Mon to Fri each week! 😊

What a truly unforgettable week of #WorldMusicDrumming at the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, workshop! It is truly an honor and a privilege that I get to repeat for multiple weeks in the summer, but this flagship location experience is in a stratosphere on its own!

Today is the start of our weeklong flagship #WorldMusicDrumming workshop in Iowa! It’s wonderful to see participants who have returned each year & become so important to me & my family. What a treat today to receive the birthday song by these teachers at our opening reception! ❤️

What a great week we had in Oklahoma at the #WorldMusicDrumming workshop! It was such a treat to train and make music with these amazing educators!

This week I have had the honor & privilege to begin my 20th summer traveling to various states as a member of the national #WorldMusicDrumming faculty, meeting & working with music teachers from all over the country for these weeklong sessions - starting in Oklahoma City! 🎶

We had a fun day celebrating a big birthday with @EllsworthPhysEd! We are so thankful to have a colleague with such kind and positive energy, and the students are certainly fortunate to get to learn from such an outstanding educator!

I notice my colleagues as they describe what they lead students to do for Mother’s Day gifts. My favorite gifts are the ones my daughter has made at her school! I am so appreciative for homeroom/art teachers everywhere spending so much energy making the occasion special for moms!

Wow!!! Congratulations to the EWIS 3rd grade musicians and @gyurkyr for the amazing musical performance today! So much preparation, planning and talent went into these performances. What a treat to see my former 2nd graders continue to grow into such fabulous musicians! 🎶
