I'm gonna explain to y'all why Britain considers 78°F/25°C hot. I know hot because I grew up in Texas and spent half my life in Las Vegas. So I am absolutely qualified to explain this to the rest of you who laugh at UK "heat waves".

Just remembered in my primary school, we played a game which combined Red Rover & British Bulldog together Basically just 2 lines of kids, linked by holding hands, who then smashed against each other. Whoever didn't break through the opponent's line then joined that line Brutal

Went to London last weekend. Bought some shokupan from a Japanese bakery, Mitsuba, whilst there. Made egg sando. #ESEA #ESEAEats #ESEAJoy
Egg sando, sliced and stood on its side so you can see the filling. A half egg is seen in each slice.

Rang my mum for a chat this morning and was explaining what the interim job was. Said it was for a minimum of 3 months and that it being temp means it'll allow me to see whether the post is a good fit for me (1/2) #AsianParenting #ChineseParenting

She then went on to say stuff like.. oh, you'll learn stuff on the job and you'll have the experience to go for it afterwards, don't worry. Had to then turn around and say, no mum, I don't mean that. I mean... If I'm happy in the role.. (2/2)

I took 1 star reviews of #Barbie from furious men on letterboxd and put them on the posters because it makes the film seem ever cooler.

Untitled F*ck M*ss S**gon Play was so, so good. Watched it twice and it definitely hits differently second time round. If you've seen it and want to discuss, let me know! If you've not seen it, you should! Use the code UFMSP10 to see it for £10 at the @rxtheatre in Manchester.

I watched the new Disney Pixar film, Elemental, as I heard it was an Asian American story. I wasn't expecting much. In fact, I was expecting it to be just as disappointing as Strange World was. (1/2)

There are very subtle nods to life within an immigrant family; enough to make me smile and tear up towards the end. I felt a lot of these might be too subtle for the average watcher, but the main underlying message is hopefully clear even in this simple children's cartoon (2/2)

I hope all supermarkets end up changing how they package beef mince to mimic Sainsbury's and Lidl. Those who find it unappetising will then be forced to stop buying it or go to a local butchers instead.
