For authors employing creative / design methods at #chi2023 – curious how the 'rigor' score is interpreted by reviewers? What's 'rigourous' Design is very much up for debate, and I'd suggest quite different from other methods / approaches. Does it make it harder to do RtD at CHI?
@drmaxlwilson - are there stats showing how different committees weight significance / originality / rigor scores?
e.g. Does design have lots of high originality / low rigor papers? Does Social Justice / Critical Computing have lots of high significance papers? Does it matter?

For all the CA/Ethnomethods heads out there – wonderful culturally specific example of managers saying 'erm...'
Would love to see more of these with filler word compilations:
- Australians resignedly saying 'Look...'
- Politicians saying 'It's absolutely right..."

It's summer 2030, and #festforwardmag suggests it's time to reflect on dynamic pricing... When your ticket price is algorithmically generated, and based on the data you're willing to share with a platform, how do you know that price is fair? More at festforward.org...
