I know some of you love the VR CruCast Podcast but had some bad news today. A good friend of mine tried to commit suicide today. He’s now in hospital getting some much needed help and two years ago a friend of both of ours did go through with it and it’s brought a few things back to me so I’m not sure I can push my head into the conversation with the lads today. Hopefully we can try later in the week or next week. I just want to say if you ever feel alone and depression has gripped hold of you to the point you don’t feel like you can share how you feel, that’s when you need to fight back. Reach out to family and friends. They do care. Someone will care OR sometimes they even feel the same and you won’t know this till the conversation happens. Depression tricks you into thinking you’re not important and it’s completely false. Trust me. I’ve been through tons of shit I’ve never shared, but I promise you, I have been there. I still have to manage a dark cloud that reappears from time to time but learning about it, how to live with it, understanding yourself and the triggers is how I live day to day and the biggest win of them all is talking to someone. Sorry if it brings the mood down but I hope Mondays been ok for you and if it hasn’t I’m sure tomorrow will be better. GT
